About

Intimate conversations can be difficult Many of us find it extremely tricky to live by our ideals in our intimate relationships- even in “good” relationships. We want to talk and act in certain ways, but we easily lose the focus and emotions take over us. One sentence, a particular tone of voice or facial expression and we are thrown and lost in emotion. It can be very disheartening to lose connection time and time again. Let’s take a look at the backbone of a conversation that has more of a chance of creating connection and understanding than disconnection.

Aims

In this webinar we will take a look at some core concepts from NVC and how to apply them towards having a fulfilling and connecting conversation in intimate relationships. I am thinking of this as the X-ray of an awesome conversation. I will offer you a few powerful approaches that you can apply right away. We will identify the elements that really build connection and those that tend to lead to distancing and mutual triggers. You will leave with a list of actions and approaches to do and those to avoid.

Who is this for?

This webinar is designed both for people who are currently in a romantic relationship and for others who wish to be and want to prepare themselves for the future. You can join by yourself or with your partner. Even if only one of you signs up, as you change, there will be ripple effects in your conversations and relationship. The beauty of nonviolence, connectedness and compassion is that they are very well received by those around us, even if they are not the practitioners- and we all benefit.
